Cantilever racking is often used to store long or irregular items. Cantilever racking is normally serviced by powered handling equipment such as side loading or industrial trucks. A cantilever racking system is recommended for industries that store raw materials, goods, and finished products that have many irregular sizes and shapes. For example: lumber, heavy-duty steel, pipes or steel bars, plasterboards, or carpets
The cantilever consists of a frame with cantilever arms that extend from the frame and braces. Those arms support the load with no vertical column on the front. Cantilever can be ordered single (with one arm) or double (with two arms)
